- For a single Sun computer connection, attach the converter's USB Type A connector cable to the computer's USB port. Then connect the keyboard's 8-pin mini DIN cable to the converter's 8-pin mini DIN port.
- To connect the converter to a KVM switch with Sun legacy interface, attach the converter's USB Type A connector cable to the computer's USB port. Then link the KVM switch's 8-pin mini DIN cable to the converter's 8-pin mini DIN port.
- Place the converter between a USB Sun computer and a legacy Sun keyboard or a KVM switch with an 8-pin mini DIN keyboard and mouse interface.
NOTE: The converter does not emulate a PS/2 mouse.
