More details AdderLink Gold - KVM extension with remote KVM switch andlocal control. Like the other AdderLink products, the AdderLink Gold enablesa computer or KVM switch to be controlled remotely over up to 200m (650 ft) ofUTP cable. The Gold features a feed through port at the local transmitter thatenables a local KVM console to be used to control the computer or KVM switchconnected to the local unit. The local and remote KVM consoles contend forcomputer access (ie they both get the same video picture) although the localconsole may grab exclusive access if necessary. The integral KVM switch fitted to the remote (receiver) unitenables the remote KVM console to select between locally or remotely connectedcomputers. AdderLink Gold extenders are fitted with microphone and stereo audiosupport and are supplied as standard with a range of other useful featuresincluding password security.
