Phantom's Distributed Switching Technology (DST) divides the KVM switch into smaller subunits: a Manager/user station, and multiple remote Specter units, that can be placed on the side or back of the rack where they occupy no rack space! Now you can dedicate more of your rack to servers instead of wasting space on switches.
Phantom Specter II supports two users, simultaneously accessing and controlling anyone of the attached servers, at any given time. Each user, through its manager/user station, can also control a local computer. Up to 63 target systems can be connected in one line: PS/2 systems, Suns, USB systems, or other network appliances through serial (RS232) port.
