System Components:

To operate the Minicom Smart CAT5 KVM Switch, you would need the followingcomponents:

• Minicom Smart CAT5 Switching Unit (the unit on this page)
• Minicom Smart RICC (Remote Interface Connection) also referred to sometimes as dongles or CIM (Computer Interface Modules) or SIM (Server Interface Modules), you need one of those for every computer you want to connect to the switching unit. These are available in models for PS/2, SUN and USB (included)
• Power Supply (included)
• Rack mount kit (included)
• CAT5 cable to connect between the computers and the switch (not included)

RICC (Remote Interface Connection) Modules

These modules replace the KVM Cable in an analog KVM Switch, they are availablein three models:
