How does the 0VS22004 Work?
How it works:

The Minicom 4 Port CAT5 VGA Video Splitter transmits video signal over CATx cables to eliminate the distance limitaions imposed by CAT5 cables and help in some applications with space constraints when passing cables through conduits.

The Minicom 4 Port CAT5 VGA Video Splitter System consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The Transmitter will take signal from a vga source (svga, xga, uga) like a computer and then split it into two signals. The transmitter has two RJ45 connectors where you plug the CAT5 cable then take that CAT5 cable anywhere you want to locate your displays (monitors, projectors ...etc) up to the maximum distance and terminate that CAT5 cable into the receiver and thats were you will plug your display (monitor, projector ....etc).
What are the Benefits of 0VS22004?

  • Simple and inexpensive CATx cables is easier to work with, cut in custom lengths and pass through conduits.
  • Overcome VGA cable limitations and signal loss.
  • Place video displays in place you didnt think possible before, like high above in show rooms
