- Provide in-band and out-of-band access to DB9 RS-232 serial console ports and maintenance ports on UNIXr servers, routers, and any other network equipment that has a serial console port.
- Include a built-in V.92 modem and a 10/100BASE-T port.
- Access serial ports over the network via SSH connections and simple menu-driven commands, or through a discrete TCP port connection to one of the unit's serial outputs.
- Share multiple console ports via a single VT100 terminal or a PC.
- Feature two command interfaces: a Web browser and a command-driven text interface.
- Full matrix capability enables you to connect any two ports, even if they have different communications settings.
- Send buffered console messages via SYSLOG. Each port has 256 KB of buffering.
- A buffer mode enables individual ports to store parameters and capture data.
- Alert via SNMP when incoming console messages are captured.
- Secure! Feature SSHv2 encryption, RADIUS authentication, and HTTPS/SSL.
- Provide two levels of security: one for the supervisor and one for the user.
