The USB-C5-LC extends one USB device up to 150 feet. The USB extenders consist of two units, the local unit and the remote unit, which are interconnected with CAT5/5e/6 cable.
Local UnitUSB-C5-LC: one male USB Type A connector. CPU Platform Compatibility SUN BladeT 100, SUN Blade 1000, SUN RayT, SUN FireT 280R, and SUN Fire V20z. PCs with USB-enabled OS (Win 98/2000/ME/XP) and USB ports. PCs with USB-enabled BIOS (legacy USB support) and USB ports. MACs G4, G5, Xserve, and mini (using USB-C5-LC).
Remote UnitUSB-C5-LC: one female USB Type A connector. Supports low-speed and full-speed USB devices. USB 1.1 compliant. Supports self-powered and/or bus-powered USB devices.
Power- USB-C5-LC:
- Local unit: powered from attached computer.
- Remote unit: powered from USB computer attached to local unit.
- USB port supports up to 400mA current.

WarrantyWarning!- The USB-C5-LC are not designed to be connected to an Ethernet card, Ethernet router, hub or switch or other Ethernet RJ45 connector of an Ethernet device. Damage to devices connected to the Ethernet may result.
Interface Cables- USB-C5(-CE) includes a one-meter male USB Type A to male USB Type B interface cable.
- Existing device cables with male Type A connector required.
Extension Limits- USB-C5-LC: extend CAT5/5e/6 up to 150 feet.
- Use of CAT6 cable may decrease the maximum length of extension.
