You'll be able to place your serial devices up to 3300 feet (1000m) away from your system, an incredible 65 times greater than normal RS-232 serial cable length restrictions. The Local and Remote units connect using standard Cat 5e Ethernet Cable and there's no need to buy additional hubs or software, you just plug in and go.
Perfect for use in POS, security, medical, manufacturing and traffic flow settings, the RS232EXTC5 maintains the RS-232 standard with data transfer rates of up to 57.6 Kbits/sec. Extending the range of your serial devices has never been easier.
