The ACS1208A is an 8-port high-density KVM switch that allows one console (Keyboard, mouse and monitor) to control as many as eight servers with direct connections. An additional 31 KVMs can be daisy-chained to control a maximum of 256 servers from the single console.

Port selection can be accomplished directly with hot keys, or by an On Screen Display (OSD) in which each server can be uniquely identified.  The OSD also allows for two levels of log on, Administrator and user.  User access is Administrator configurable on a port - by - port, per user basis.  A total of one Administrator and four user profiles may be identified.  Ports denied to a specific profile are not displayed for that user by the OSD.

For a clean and simple cable management solution, the ACS1208A uses a single SPDB15 connector on the KVM side, while breaking out the monitor, and PS2 connections on the server side.

An Auto Sensing feature eliminates the need to set identifier Dip Switches on any of the Daisy Chained KVMs, to aid in identification, an LED indicates the selected station.

Console:

• A VGA, SVGA, or Multisync monitor capable of the highest resolution that you will be using on any computer in the installation
