The Video Display System (VDS) Dual Remote - part of the CAT5 VDS system for distribution of high resolution VGA video content from player to plasma/LCD over standard CAT5 cable - is a compact remote unit that connects in parallel to 2 display devices through HDD15 connections.
The VDS Remote Dual Screen draws its power from the line and does not require an external power adapter. It also allows distribution of composite video signals via an RCA to HDD15 adapter.
The VDS Remote Dual Screen is the solution for many digital signage applications in which 2 displays are installed at the same location next to each other. With the VDS Remote Dual Screen, the VDS solution increases the value for money by lowering costs of extra remote units and extra cable, while at the same time doubling the number of display targets in the installation.
With the VDS Remote Dual Screen, the VDS system becomes more flexible and easy to install by cutting the total cable length in half - one CAT5 cable for every two screens instead of one cable for every screen. In addition, you can now transmit composite video AND stereo audio (with an optional RCA to HDD15 adapter), on the same line, to multiple display devices including plasma/LCD/HDTV/TV to longer distances up to 1000 feet.
The VDS Remote Dual Screen can be connected to either the VDS Broadcaster or VDS Line Splitter.
